About

The twenty-seven-year-old Gloucester native dabbles in just a bit of everything when it comes to music, from the most niche form of indie music all the way into majestic pieces of film score. A self-trained instrumentalist,Jake started playing the guitar, piano and drums at just six years old before truly starting to produce and record full compositions at seventeen. He joined his school’s jazz band playing the drums and added the flute and other percussion instruments into his arsenal by joining the orchestra, as well as doing the same for his youth group’s jazz band and orchestra. His style is one of mystery and a dedicated flair to being as noncompliant as possible to the rigid and often formulaic grouping of musical genres. This may be why he finds influences from the great minds of Hans Zimmer and Gustav Holst to Tame Impala and The Chemical Brothers. Experimentation is the name of the game for Jake, and with his latest plans to record and release a solo album later in 2020 with his studio recordings straight from his garden, the release is guaranteed to be unique even if there is nothing else to say for the man of mystery.
